Our philosophy
The wellbeing of our guests is very important to us.
Naturally, providing you with great service and comfortable rooms is at the centre of our efforts. It is our hotel’s philosophy to inspire and pamper our guests; it is something we have devoted ourselves to since the very beginning and pass on to our employees.
We consider it our job to make your stay with us an unforgettable experience.
History of the building
In 1973, the premises were built as a block of apartments and, a few years later, the previous owner converted it into a Hotel Garni. In 1982, the Müller family acquired the Hotel Römerstein. Since the death of their mother, siblings Heinz-Dieter Müller and Sonja Sonnack née Müller have continued to run the hotel by themselves. Throughout the years, 7 rooms with a shared toilet per floor became 17 en-suite rooms. In 1995, the hotel was closed for the first and only time for general renovations. Since its reopening half a year later, the building has featured 25 en-suite rooms, a sauna with exercise equipment, and a restaurant.
